What do you want?
Right now, virtually all free email providers have stepped up their game. The top three free email services - yahoomail, hotmail and gmail all provide similar services.
I'm not going to unduly extend this article and would cut straight to the chase. I still use yahoo, gmail and occassionaly aol but the one that has captured my attention is hotmail.
Hotmail is the best free email service at the moment and could be for a very long time to come because it has the easiest way to deal with spam.
Spam emails is what everyone has a problem with, with my hotmail, I can subscribe to virtually any internet service with the assurance that I would not be getting bombed with 200 unsolicited emails on a daily basis. Hotmail, windows live puts me in control very easily.
Nope its simpler on Hotmail and windows live
Someone might say, gmail has filters? Gmail filters are too complex for everyday users who unfortunately need this capability the most. Even as a technical user, I feel gmail filter is poorly designed - it feels like they did not think people would actually use it since, there is a search button and gmail has no less than 7GB of data but...
People actually want order in their inbox - seeing 4000 mails is unsettling to the mind. Its quite easy to filter your mails on hotmail without writing any stupid code - lets jump in on how to do this.
- Simply select the spam mails (select as many as you want with the checkbox).
- Click on the Sweep menu
- Click Delete all from...
- On the Dialog box, choose also block future messages
- If the mail you want to delete is not spam but you still want to delete all the messages from a particular person, you can follow these same steps but do not check the also block future messages

Best Email Spam Blocker
Two ways to block mails
Sanity restored to email when using hotmail.
As you can see from the picture above, you can do much more than block emails. You can automatically move all email from one person, to a special folder. For instance, all mails from your bank can be automatically moved to one folder, mails from your real life acqunintances can be moved to another folder, mails from work to another folder...
By clicking "also block future emails", you can deal a permanent blow to spam. You will not see the email from that particular email again, you would not have to waste your time clicking on the delete button or emptying trash full of spam.
With this, you can easily retrieve important mail that accidentally went to spam folder since your spam folder would be less filled up than before.
what do you think?
There is no need to write more words - get yourself a hotmail account @ www.hotmail.com or http://mail.live.com. If you already use hotmail and do not currently use its revolutionary spam management features, you're missing out.
I really hope they patented it before Google steals it for Gmail. One more tip. You do not have to click the delete button to delete emails in hotmail. Simply press your delete button on your keyboard while reading a mail and it would be deleted.
